2020 Funded Grants
In 2020, the board of advisors of Grow Watauga.org announced $9,500 in local community grant awards.
The board granted:

$6,000 to the WAMY Community Action for Food Security Programs

$2,000 to Hunger and Health Coalition of the High Country
-
$1,200 collaborative grant to Western Youth Network (WYN) and the Hospitality House of Boone for Grow Box and educational garden programs.

$300 to the Avery WAMY educational garden
We are proud to support these programs that are so vital to our community, and grateful to the local agencies and volunteers that help us address poverty and food insecurity.
